Rising artist Darrien Luke and Drama Mama's Paulz, have joined forces to release their powerful new single, "No More Drama, No More Pain," in support of the ongoing battle against gender-based violence and femicide (GBVF). The song, written from a child's perspective, aims to inspire hope and encourage individuals to speak out against GBVF and stand up for those affected.

The collaboration between Darrien Luke and Paulz delivers a poignant message that resonates with the experiences of many affected by GBVF. Through heartfelt lyrics and emotive melodies, "No More Drama, No More Pain" serves as an anthem for empowerment, urging listeners to join the fight against GBVF and work towards a future free from violence and fear.

"We believe that music has the power to spark meaningful change and give a voice to those who may feel silenced by GBVF," said Darrien Luke. "With 'No More Drama, No More Pain,' we hope to convey a message of resilience and unity, encouraging individuals to speak up and take a stand against this pervasive issue."

Paulz added, "The song captures the innocence and vulnerability of a child's perspective, emphasizing the importance of creating a safer world for future generations. We want to convey a message of strength and solidarity, inspiring people to come together and combat GBVF in all its forms and to break the silence."

"No More Drama, No More Pain" is not only a musical expression but also a call to action, as we would hold programmes at various schools and communities showcasing this song together with a dramatic piece and create a safe environment for people to come forward, where we have partnered with counsellors for guidance and referral pathways with RRTs (Rapid Response Teams). The song/dance is also available for showcasing/opening ceremonies for GBVF Activists and the Department of Social Development.

The release of "No More Drama, No More Pain" comes at a critical time, as communities worldwide continue to grapple with the devastating impact of GBVF. Darrien Luke and Paulz hope that their song will serve as a catalyst for meaningful conversations and inspire positive change.

The single "No More Drama, No More Pain" is now available for streaming and download on all major digital platforms. To learn more about the artists, follow them on social media platforms @darrienluke/@dramamamacommunityarts
